The STISD High School Selection process for current STISD 8th-graders and In-District Transfer process for current STISD 6th-,7th- and 9th-graders wanting to transfer to another campus within STISD for the 2024-2025 school year are now open via Skyward. The deadline to complete these processes is 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.

Born into a family of migrant workers, Mia is deeply rooted in hard work. It’s no easy lifestyle, in fact it’s quite the sacrifice - always on the move, with working summers and no time to establish friendships or a place one can truly call home- but she embraced that lifestyle and who it’s made her as a person: strong, determined and good-willed.

In this quarterly newsletter, students and parents will find important information regarding FAFSA, Scholarships, Dual Credit, Testing, CTE Programs of Study and mandatory deadlines.
Next week, STISD will hold the first of three sessions in its South Texas ISD Dyslexia Series.
This series will include one in-person meeting and two virtual sessions, all focused on Supporting Student Success.
The sessions are open to parents from within our district community and others outside of STISD who could benefit from the information.
